This holiday season, we celebrate the gift of hope — made possible because of you!
Thanks to your generosity, Emily’s Hope has made an incredible impact this year:
- 26,000+ students have received our Substance Use Prevention Curriculum — including children on the Rosebud Reservation, ensuring even underserved communities have access to life-saving education.

- 13,000 naloxone kits have been distributed and 30+ free distribution boxes installed statewide, preventing countless overdose deaths.
- $510,000 in treatment scholarships have helped 260+ people access recovery at the Avera Addiction Care Center.
- Our Post-Overdose Response Team now serves five counties — Lincoln, Minnehaha, Codington, Turner, and Yankton — connecting survivors with immediate support.
- The Emily’s Hope Youth Prevention Coalition has reached 1,000+ youth and adults through clubs, art competitions, and workshops.
- Our support group now brings together 30+ grieving families, helping them heal while honoring their loved ones.
Every life saved, every child taught, and every family helped is because of you. Together, we are stopping stigma and saving lives.
Wishing you a joyous holiday season,
💜 Angela Kennecke & the Emily’s Hope Team
