If you would have told Norma 20 years ago that she would be an alcoholic, she would have said you were crazy. Norma didn’t start drinking until her 30’s and soon found herself drinking alcohol during the day at her job, and eventually all the time. During a blackout, she crashed her car and finally realized that it was time to get help. She sought treatment and received a scholarship to the Avera Addiction Care Center from Emily’s Hope.
