SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – A Sioux Falls man admitted to distributing drugs that led to the death of a Vermillion woman.
Udda Kobaba pleaded guilty in federal court on Thursday.
Although the life of Kelcy Orr was cut short due to a fentanyl overdose, her mom, Jenny, is grateful for the years they had together. The memories go back to a little girl who was always on the go.
“We’re working really tightly with Emily’s hope to get Narcan out there,” Jenny explained. “Narcan is our new epipen. We hope to goodness we never have to use it, but we’ve got it. If you need it, you have it.”
A free Narcan box in Vermillion is named in Kelcy’s honor.
