SIOUX FALLS — After the tragic death of Angela Kennecke’s daughter, Emily, to accidental fentanyl poisoning, Kennecke made it her mission to save lives through research-based prevention and education about substance abuse disorders, the dangers of opiates, and removing financial barriers and stigma for treatment and recovery. In 2026, that mission means expanding the number of Naloxone kits across the state and debuting a high school prevention and education curriculum.
