- Her art is also on a digital display at the new Avera on Louise campus.
- Her painting, “Geometric Waves,” is on loan to Sioux Falls Mayor Paul TenHaken and is displayed at City Hall.
The Emily’s Hope Art Scholarship
Emily’s Hope Art Scholarship is a fund for graduating seniors in South Dakota who are pursuing a degree or field of study in art, with an emphasis on visual art.
Emily was a prolific painter, and this is a way for her legacy to live on in the art world.
The Emily’s Hope Art Scholarship is managed through the Sioux Falls Area Community Foundation.

Emily’s watercolor painting for this book cover was created in 2017. The book was written by her mother, Angela. Poignantly, it is a story of poor choices, addiction and redemption. The Day His Heart Stopped Crying, is Steve Frey’s story. Steve is dedicating 100% of the proceeds of the sales of the book to Emily’s Hope!
