Hannah Statz DeVries, MD
Dr. Hannah Statz DeVries, a board member at Emily’s Hope, hails from Sioux Falls. She completed her education at Creighton University for undergrad, USD Sanford School of Medicine for medical training, Rush University Medical Center for psychiatry residency, and Northwestern Memorial Hospital for addiction psychiatry fellowship. She practices at the Avera Addiction Care Center and in outpatient settings. As interim medical director at Avera, she co-authored an alcohol-associated liver disease article. She also enjoys educating student doctors on compassionate addiction care. Described as compassionate, enthusiastic, and driven by loved ones.
