Kim Hix
After the tragic loss of her daughter Kelsie in 2022, Kim Hix founded Kelsie’s Cause. This non-profit organization seeks to raise awareness about the dangers of fentanyl and provide information to parents and other concerned individuals. Kim divides all funds raised by Kelsie’s Cause between two different non-profits, Shalom Ministries, a recovery house for women, and Labor of Love Transport Rescue, an organization dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating abandoned and abused dogs. Through her work with Kelsie’s Cause, Kim is determined to positively impact her community and honor her daughter’s memory.
