For much of her life, Simone Bowyer struggled to believe she was enough. Growing up with an abusive father who battled alcohol addiction, Simone says childhood trauma sent her down a dangerous path that included an eating disorder, addiction and depression.
After years of therapy and hard work, Simone found recovery and a new sense of purpose. Today, she’s an author, speaker and founder of Light Within Collective, where she focuses on trauma, recovery and emotional well-being.

Simone Bowyer is an author, Operations Manager, and founder of Light Within Collective, a platform dedicated to compassionate conversations around trauma, recovery, and emotional wellbeing. After surviving complex trauma, substance use disorder, an eating disorder, and treatment-resistant depression, she now combines lived experience with a background in psychology to help others move from surviving to truly living. Through her writing, speaking, and therapeutic card decks, Simone offers practical understanding and a reminder that even after profound darkness, light can return.
