STURGIS, S.D. — Police in Sturgis say they made a large drug bust after executing a search warrant at a home.

According to the Sturgis Police Department, officers recovered several pounds of marijuana, about 67 grams of cocaine, 203 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, THC edibles, THC wax and multiple firearms.

Authorities say the investigation is ongoing and charges are pending. The Sturgis and Deadwood Police Departments conducted the search warrant together. The Meade County Sheriff’s Office is also helping with the investigation.

“This operation reflects the strong cooperation between area law enforcement agencies and our shared commitment to keeping our communities safe and drug free,” the Strugis Police Department wrote in a Facebook post.
