SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – Emily’s Hope hosted a candlelight vigil to honor those who lost their lives to overdose and fentanyl poisoning for International Overdose Awareness Day.
The event included personal stories, community speakers, and a memorial reading of lives lost. The Arc of Dreams was lit up purple, which officials said is a symbol of remembrance and hope.
