WATERTOWN, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – Emily’s Hope is expanding its free naloxone distribution program to Watertown.
Emily’s Hope has installed 2 new naloxone boxes have been installed, one at Prairie Lakes Hospital and one at the Watertown Regional Library.
Each month, the distribution boxes are stocked with kits containing two doses of naloxone, gloves, and details about treatment and recovery resources.
Watertown Police Chief Tim Toomey, along with leadership from Prairie Lakes Health Care System, helped coordinate the effort.
