Emily’s Hope receives $100k grant to expand education

Emily’s Hope, a South Dakota nonprofit that raises awareness about substance use disorder, has received a $100,000 grant to launch a new campaign.

The campaign will educate South Dakota students and parents about the dangers of counterfeit pills laced with fentanyl and provide families with practical tools to help prevent overdose deaths. The project will reach an estimated 50,000 or more students, parents, and educators across the state, according to a news release from Emily’s Hope.
