South Dakota woman speaks to White House leaders on overdose epidemic

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – A South Dakota woman is working alongside White House leaders and people from all over the country to fight the overdose epidemic in the United States.

Dakota News Now Washington News Bureau reporter Brendan Cullerton spoke to Angela Kennecke, who lost her daughter to fentanyl poisoning and has made it her goal to prevent other families from feeling that pain.

Now, she’s taking her mission all the way to the White House.
