Taylnn’s journey to becoming a certified Peer Support Specialist began with a personal tragedy—the loss of her big brother, Trace, to an overdose in April 2021. This heartbreaking event led her to Emily’s Hope vigils, where the support and stories of resilience from others touched her deeply and sparked a desire to make a difference. Inspired to act, Taylnn immersed herself in learning how to help those battling substance use disorders, prevent overdoses, and combat stigma through education. She has been actively working as a certified Peer Support Specialist since November 2023, dedicated to supporting individuals on their paths to recovery.
