This Saturday: Emily’s Hope Hosts a Free Family Fun Night and Fireworkz Show in Tea, SD

SIOUX FALLS, S.D.  – June 5th, 2026  – Emily’s Hope invites families across the Sioux Falls area to join them on Saturday, June 6th for the Emily’s Hope Family Fun Night and Fireworkz Show at the Tea Athletic Complex in Tea, South Dakota. The free community event begins at 7:00 p.m. and will feature food trucks, family activities, and a fireworks display to kick off the summer season.

The evening will include concessions from the Backyard BBQ Food Truck and the SDSU Ice Cream Truck, as well as a bouncy house, inflatable obstacle course, and classic yard games including ladder golf, giant Jenga, and bean bags. As the sun sets, attendees are invited to pull up their lawn chairs for a fireworks show lighting up the summer sky.

Admission is free. A free-will donation will be collected during the event, with 100% of proceeds going directly toward furthering the mission of Emily’s Hope to stop stigma and save lives across South Dakota.

“We wanted to create a night that brings our community together in a joyful, accessible way,” said Angela Kennecke, founder of Emily’s Hope. “This event is for everyone, and every dollar raised helps us continue the work of saving lives across South Dakota.”
