Three mothers with a common message joined Thum and Milstead at Monday morning’s police briefing at the law enforcement center in Sioux Falls: Angela Kennecke, Alicia Steinfurth and Diane Eide.
“We cannot arrest our way out of this epidemic,” Kennecke said. “It has to come through awareness, through education and through prevention, and Emily’s Hope is working on all of those aspects.”
