PSA Campaign

The Emily’s Hope Youth Prevention Coalition was awarded the 2025 Vern Eide Mitsubishi Tradition of Caring Grant by KELOLAND Media Group. This grant provides thousands of dollars worth of free advertising on KELO-TV and KELOLAND.com.

The coalition has developed a series of Public Service Announcements airing on KELO and other stations.

One Pill Can Kill

The first of four TV spots aired in January and February 2025 telling the story of 15-year-old Kelcy Orr who died in 2023 after taking what she thought was a prescription pill, but it ended up being a deadly dose of fentanyl.

One Choice Can Change Everything

The second spot, “One Choice Can Change Everything,” began airing in April 2025.

Brighten the World

The third spot, “Brighten the World,” featuring Emily and Angela Kennecke, began airing in summer 2025.

Games Are For Fun. Life Is Real.

The fourth spot, “Games Are For Fun. Life Is Real,” warns that it’s never safe to buy a pill online or to chat with someone you don’t know. The PSA began airing in fall 2025.
